Global construction equipment Komatsu Construction is the latest company to take action for a low-emissions future: they’ve commissioned electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure.
This collaboration with EVUp fits in perfectly with Komatsu’s plans to develop all-electric construction equipment.
Central to the EV infrastructure is the installation of AURIGA, an Aussie-made EV charger. It uses green technology so it’s sustainable—financially, socially, and environmentally. The chargers are already seeing impressive use by both staff and visitors: 20 ports in one location has seen it become a key EV charging hub in the area.
Easy to
install and use
The EV chargers are easy and efficient to install with no pedestal needed and an accessible power connection. They charge fast and take all credit and debit cards, mobile apps, and all other tap-on, tap-off payment types.
Australian made and fully supported
The software and units are made in Victoria, Australia—which means reliable, secure and responsive long-term support for your public car charging station.
EVUp's UpCharge software has been developed by our in-house team, right here in Victoria. It provides charging session start and end time, session duration, carbon offset, revenue and reimbursement, and more.
About the EV network data security
The EVUp software keeps EV charging data and customer data stored and transmitted according to Australian and New Zealand law. It incorporates PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant transactions so all credit card transactions are processed securely. No data is ever sent overseas. And regular penetration tests are run by external consultants to avoid exposures.
Creating our EV charger software in this way has allowed us to connect a growing network of EVUp EV charging stations across Australia & New Zealand. We can also provide strong customer-focused tech and troubleshooting support for site owners and EV drivers.
